How to Make A Smart Form With Conditional Logic?

1. At first, install and activate the pro version of WordPress live form like any other plugin. If you’re new to WordPress, read our guide about how to install and activate a plugin in WordPress. 
2. Build your form with all the fields you need. You may check the guide about how to create a contact form with WordPress Live Form to create your form perfectly within a few minutes.
3. After creating the form, now go to that field box where you want to add logic and click on the blue icon below:

Once you have clicked on it, the field settings toolbox will open just to the left of your contact form.  It is mostly the same for every field, only some special fields offer unique options.

Moreover, you can set the field status as “show” or “hide” for “all” or “any” condition matched for any user input.

This means,

• Show/Hide – Select in case of showing or hiding the current field.
• All: Fit all the specifications of the condition 
• Any: Fit any of the specifications of the condition 

Now to set the logic, click on the Add New Condition. Here you will find three options to set the logic. The first one is Field Title where you have to choose the field name.

 The second one is pre-built logic conditions. It looks like below the screenshot,

• Is: To check the selected field input is phone or email
• Is not: To check the selected field input is not phone or email
• Less than: To check the selected field input is less than any value
• Greater than: To check the selected field input is greater than any value
• Contains: To check the selected field input contains any string or value
• Starts with: To check the selected field input start with any string or value
• Ends with: To check the selected field input ends with a specific string or value

The last box is for entering the value to check the condition.

For more clarity, take an example like if you want to only take the Gmail address from the Email field box, then you have to set the logic. To do this, you need to select Email from the Field Title box, then choose “Contains” as the logic condition, and then write the value as “Gmail” on the last box. After setting it, it looks like as below:    

Once you have added the logic, save the form and test your form whether it works or not.
